Idle Siege


Official Launch Trailer

I was entrusted with the creative direction for the official launch trailer of Idle Siege, a new IP developed by Gameloft Kharkiv. The game is a mobile idle strategy title where players take on the role of a Warlord, conquering islands by strategically managing troops and commanders from various historical eras.

For this launch, I developed the core concept and directed the trailer, supervising a dedicated team to bring the vision to life. My role was multifaceted, involving hands-on direction for the 3D modelers in creating the game's key characters. I established the comedic timing and narrative flow by creating the initial animatic and worked closely with the animation team to ensure the character performances were impactful and humorous.

The final assembly was completed in Unreal Engine, where I was responsible for set dressing, crafting special effects, and implementing additional character and prop animations. The trailer was a key asset in the game's launch in January 2022, introducing players to its unique blend of RTS and idle mechanics.
