Cinematic in a Frozen Moment

I created the cinematic trailer to announce the arrival of the "Engineer" class in Blitz Brigade. This project was an opportunity to introduce a new character and gameplay dynamic to the popular team-based shooter.

The creative concept I developed was a "frozen time" or "bullet time" action sequence. The trailer unfolds as the camera navigates through a chaotic firefight, exploring the scene piece by piece to showcase the Engineer's unique abilities. This narrative device allowed for a detailed and dramatic reveal of the new class in action, highlighting her turret-building skills and tactical advantage on the battlefield.

My role encompassed the development of the visual look and the choreography of the action sequence. To build the environment, I sculpted and surfaced custom wall elements in 3D Coat to match the game's art style. The entire scene was assembled and animated in Cinema 4D and rendered in Octane, a workflow that enabled rapid previewing and iteration to perfect the final look. The trailer successfully introduced the game's seventh class, a highly anticipated addition that brought deployable turrets and strategic defensive gameplay to the Blitz Brigade experience.
